A warm, private family based in West Chelsea, NYC is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to support daily meal preparation for a household of two adults and one toddler.
This is a long-term, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys preparing simple, high-quality home-style meals, with a focus on Asian cuisine.
Schedule
• Monday–Thursday
• 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare fresh, home-style meals for the family
• Focus on Asian cuisine (variety of styles welcomed)
• Light meal planning in collaboration with the family
• Grocery shopping and ingredient sourcing as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen
• Ensure meals are nutritious, balanced, and prepared with care
Candidate Profile
• Prior experience working as a cook in a private home or similar setting
• Strong understanding of Asian home-style cooking
• Organized, efficient, and dependable
• Warm, respectful, and comfortable in a private household environment
• Comfortable working around a young child
