LEAD HOUSEKEEPER-WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA
Residence in West Hollywood, CA is seeking an experienced (local) Lead Housekeeper to oversee and execute the daily cleaning and organization of a 9,000 sq. ft., two-story residence. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a candidate who takes pride in maintaining a home to a high standard while guiding and coordinating a small housekeeping team.
The Lead Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring consistency, efficiency, and overall presentation of the home, while working alongside two additional housekeepers. Full daily and deep cleaning projects, laundry and steaming, and organization along with other special projects will be needed
There are dogs in the home; however, no pet care is required (please do not apply if you have pet allergies). Principal will consider part-time or full-time hours
Responsibilities
Housekeeping (Primary Focus)
- Perform full-charge daily housekeeping and maintain presentation-ready standards throughout the home
- Execute detailed, rotational deep cleaning across all living spaces
- Manage all laundry and linen care, including steaming and pressing garments and bedding
- Maintain organization across closets, storage areas, and household spaces
Team Oversight
- Supervise and work alongside two housekeepers to ensure consistent standards are met
- Delegate daily tasks and manage workflow across the home
- Ensure cleaning schedules, rotations, and priorities are followed
Household Coordination
- Maintain inventory of household supplies and cleaning products
- Ensure the home is consistently organized, stocked, and guest-ready
- Communicate effectively with principals regarding household needs and priorities
Qualifications
- Strong background in hands-on housekeeping within private homes
- Prior experience in a lead or supervisory housekeeping role preferred
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized environment
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and oversee others
- Comfortable working in a home with dogs
- Discreet, reliable, and professional
Location: West Hollywood, CA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Compensation and Benefits:
- $40–$50/hour (DOE)
- Payment via payroll or direct payment methods (flexible)
