Position: Full Time Nanny / Family Assistant

Current Main Working Location: Austin, TX

 

Position will require about 25% travel give or take depending on the family’s plans.

 

Responsibilities:

-Provide exceptional care for Family’s children

-Create safe and stimulating environments for children, as well as routines and schedules

-Keep children’s best interests top of mind

-Research activities, classes, schools, etc. and assist with registration, enrollment and calendaring

-Help child(ren) learn to speak English (for the baby in the home), as well as another language(s), ideally Spanish

-Maintain a valid Drivers license and clean, safe vehicle. Safely transport child(ren) to and from outings and destinations as needed.

-Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications

-Maintain current vaccinations (i.e. flu, tdap, etc.)

-Keep a valid U.S. Passport and be ready to travel with Family when requested (domestically and internationally). Travel will likely be many times throughout the year; some trips may be for longer periods of time, i.e. a couple of months or so. We try to give as much notice as possible, but some trips will occur with shorter notice, so being travel ready is important.

-Be forward thinking, proactive, kind, friendly, and compassionate

-Help child(ren) grow into kind, smart, confident, wonderful individuals

-Work well and collaborate with Family Office Team

-Employ honesty, integrity, and good, level-headed, logical thinking

-Help with dog care, light housekeeping, and assistant tasks as requested

-Prioritize child-related duties, i.e. laundry, purchases, light meal prep, organization, packing, etc

-Be comfortable using technology, ie G-suite, Asana, Messaging apps, smart home apps,  etc.

-Submit expense reports/receipts for purchases

-Stay aware of latest research and product recalls as it relates to the children

-Maintain clean, organized spaces

-Reinforce potty & sleep training as needed

-Engage in play including music, reading, building, and problem solving

 

Candidates must be legal to work in the United States and have clear background checks.

General Work Schedule: A minimum of 40 hrs. per week over the course of a seven day workweek. Exact days & times will vary.

 

Compensation: DOE; Employer Paid Health Benefits: Medical, dental and vision 

PTO: 7 sick days; 10 vacation days (vacation days need to be approved in advance); Paid Holidays
