An active, well-run household is seeking an experienced Family Personal Assistant to serve as the organizational backbone of the home. This role is heavily focused on scheduling and coordination, supporting three school-aged children with complex, staggered routines and travel sports, while also overseeing light household administration and family logistics. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, and who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. The household is supported by a full-time housekeeper and a chef. The family previously employed a nanny for eight years and values longevity, trust, and proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update shared scheduling systems (apps + Skylight calendar)
  • Look ahead weekly and flag coverage gaps or extra driver needs to parents
  • Collaborate closely with mom to ensure smooth handoffs

Household & Family Support

  • Own and manage the household task list with strong prioritization
  • Light household reset duties (unloading dishwasher, tidying common areas -especially on days without the housekeeper)
  • Pantry and snack management:
    • Keep kids’ snacks, fresh fruit, and veggies stocked and prepped
    • One weekly grocery run or unloading/organizing deliveries
  • Seasonal organization:
    • Children’s clothing (monitoring sizes, seasonal needs, closets)
    • Sports gear clean-outs and organization
  • Errands and returns
  • Vendor coordination and tracking of annual services/appointments
  • Assist with preparing the home for events (birthdays, pool parties, gatherings)

Pet Support (Light)

  • Assist with basic pet care alongside the existing dog walker
  • Feed pets dinner, tidy backyard as needed
  • Pets include a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Lab/Shepherd mix, and a cat

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in a Family or Personal Assistant role
  • Exceptionally organized, fast-moving, and detail-oriented
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable managing multiple apps and systems
  • Strong judgment and proactive mindset – anticipates needs and solves problems
  • Excellent communicator who can build systems and keep everyone aligned
  • Trustworthy, resourceful, and able to “own” responsibilities without micromanagement
  • Calm, adaptable, and confident in a fast-paced household

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving a family vehicle or using own car as needed
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with parents
  • Looking to make a long-term commitment (5+ years)
