ROTA Nanny – 2 Positions
Location: Sarasota, FL
Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off | Live-Out
Compensation: $80,000/year
Benefits: $300/month health insurance stipend, paid vacation, paid holidays when possible, relocation assistance
Travel: Regular domestic & international travel + $100 per travel day

- Fluent Portuguese OR Spanish required
A private family in Sarasota, FL is seeking two experienced, fluent Portuguese-speaking Nannies to care for their two boys, ages 8 and 2½. The ideal candidates are nurturing, active, engaging, and proactive, with the flexibility to work within a rotational household and travel regularly with the family.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and developmentally appropriate care for both children
- Plan engaging activities, outings, play, and new experiences for the younger child
- Support the older child’s homeschool and extracurricular schedule as needed
- Manage children’s daily schedules, routines, activities, and transportation
- Encourage continued exposure to and use of the Portuguese language
- Work collaboratively with hands-on parents and other household staff
- Travel domestically and internationally with the family, including trips to Brazil
- Assist with packing and preparation for the children during travel
- Provide occasional evening and weekend coverage during the on week
- Provide occasional overnight care when needed, with additional compensation as applicable
- Remain flexible with changing family schedules and travel
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the children
Qualifications
- Fluent Portuguese OR Spanish required
- 3+ years of professional childcare experience preferred
- Previous private household experience strongly preferred
- Experience with toddlers and school-aged children
- Engaging, creative, nurturing, and active with children
- Organized, proactive, dependable, and flexible
- Comfortable working collaboratively with involved parents and household staff
- Comfortable with regular domestic and international travel
- Valid passport
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Confident swimmer
- Professional, discreet, and respectful of family privacy
- Flexible for occasional evenings, weekends, and overnights during the on week
