Position Overview
The Traveling Residence & Principal Support Manager is responsible for ensuring that all principal residences and travel
destinations are fully prepared in advance of arrival and operate smoothly throughout each stay.
Working in close coordination with the Chief of Staff, this role supports the principals by managing property readiness,
coordinating vendors, and maintaining consistent standards across multiple locations. The position requires frequent travel
and direct involvement in preparing homes, monitoring conditions, and addressing issues as they arise.
This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a dynamic
environment where plans may shift, and timing is often driven by principal travel.
Key Responsibilities
Property Preparation
• Travel in advance of principals to prepare residences and accommodations
• Conduct walkthroughs of homes and properties (including vehicles) to ensure readiness
• Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and vendors to address any issues
• Ensure all systems (HVAC, lighting, Wi-Fi, security, etc.) are fully operational
• Stock groceries, supplies, and known preferences
• Prepare spaces so they are fully ready upon arrival
On-Site Property Support
• Serve as on-site point of contact during principal stays, as needed
• Monitor day-to-day property conditions and functionality
• Address issues promptly and with minimal disruption
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and support staff
• Manage vehicle readiness, including fueling/charging, cleaning, and service coordination
Post-Departure Reset
• Oversee cleaning and reset of the property following departure
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance follow-up, and restocking
• Reset vehicles (cleaning, refueling/charging, scheduling service if needed)
• Identify and communicate any recurring issues or improvements
Coordination & Communication
• Work closely with the Chief of Staff to align property readiness with travel schedules
• Coordinate with vendors and local contacts to ensure timely execution of work
• Maintain clear communication regarding property status, needs, and updates
• Support consistency across multiple residencesQualifications
3+ years of experience in property management, estate operations, hospitality, or similar roles
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle responsibilities with discretion and professionalism
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities

Role Structure
This position operates within a private family office environment where the Chief of Staff serves as the central point of
coordination for the principals. The Traveling Residence & Principal Support Manager works closely with the Chief of

The role also involves direct interaction with principals during travel and requires a high level of trust, flexibility, and
