HOUSEKEEPER – PALM BEACH, FL
Full-Time | Year-Round | Live-Out
$30–$38+/hour DOE + Medical Benefits
POSITION OVERVIEW
A private couple in Palm Beach is seeking an experienced, reliable, and service-minded Housekeeper to join their established household team. This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who takes tremendous pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and genuinely enjoys providing exceptional service.
The home is comfortable and casual in nature while maintaining five-star standards and expectations, particularly when the Principals are entertaining or hosting guests.
The ideal candidate will be a true team player who works well with the two existing staff members while also being confident working independently. The household is extremely organized, with established systems and detailed manuals in place. Someone who can follow these standards while also taking initiative, thinking ahead, and recognizing what needs to be done without always being asked will thrive in this role.
The Principals are seeking someone who truly loves what they do, has a service heart and mindset, and is looking for a long-term position with a wonderful household.
SCHEDULE
The Principals are typically in residence in Palm Beach from October through May.
The standard schedule is generally:
Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Flexibility is required while the Principals are in residence, particularly when entertaining or hosting guests. During busier weeks, the household team may stagger schedules to provide appropriate coverage, such as 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM.
Occasional evenings or Saturdays may be required depending on household needs and events.
From May through October, the Principals travel between their other properties. During this period, the Palm Beach schedule and workload will generally be lighter; however, this remains a full-time position with 40 hours of guaranteed pay year-round.

The successful candidate will understand anticipatory service and naturally look beyond their immediate task list.
This may mean setting the table in preparation for Mrs.'s luncheon without needing to be asked, assisting with the dog while the Principals are busy entertaining, providing turn-down service during an evening shift, or simply noticing something that could be done to make the Principals' day easier.
The mindset should always be:
“What can I do today to help make their day better?”

TRAVEL

For the right candidate who enjoys travel, this could become an additional opportunity once a strong working relationship has been established.
