A warm, family-oriented household is seeking an experienced live-in Nanny/Tutor to provide dedicated care and academic support for a bright 10-year-old daughter. The role is primarily child-focused — tutoring, nannying, and supporting daily routines — with occasional light assistance on family logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engaged, age-appropriate tutoring and academic support, including help with homework, reading, and school projects.
- Plan and lead enriching daily activities that balance learning, creativity, and play.
- Offer warm, consistent nannying — managing daily routines, meals, morning and evening schedules, and transportation to and from school or extracurriculars.
- Foster the child's emotional well-being, confidence, and independence through attentive, caring companionship.
- Coordinate with the parent on the child's schedule, progress, and needs.
- Occasional light assistance with family logistics, such as appointment setting, grocery shopping, or errands related to the child or household.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a nanny and/or tutor working with school-age children.
- Educational or teaching background (teaching credential, degree in education, or strong tutoring experience) preferred.
- Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Non-smoker; professional, discreet, and comfortable in a private household setting.
- Excellent English; additional languages a plus.
