Senior Stewardess & Estate Assistant (Hybrid Role) - HNWF - Miami

Job Title: Chief Stewardess / Household Assistant – Private Charter Vessel & Estate Support (Full-time / Permanent Position)
Location: Miami, FL 

Position Summary:
An exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and service-driven professional to join a private family as a Chief Stewardess / Household Assistant. This is a dual-role position, split between a private charter vessel (primary responsibility) and land-based estate responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate is mature, personable, and equally comfortable supporting private yacht operations and providing high-touch service in a private residential setting. This individual will be member of 4-5 person team between the Yacht Crew and Household Staff. This is a live-out, full-time position with a schedule that may vary in accordance with the family's needs and travel plans. A high degree of flexibility, professionalism, and discretion is essential to succeed in this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

Onboard Duties:

• Support captain with daily operations on a private vessel when the family charters their private vessels

• Perform line handling and assist with docking procedures

• Operate and maintain tender/dinghy; set up and manage water toys

• Interior upkeep and stewardess duties with Silver Star-level service

• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and guest readiness onboard at all times

Land-Based Duties (as needed to balance estate staff):

• Light housekeeping and estate upkeep as part of household staff

• Provide event and social support for gatherings in the Surfside/Miami area

• Assist with errands, personal tasks, and household logistics as needed

• Serve as an adaptable team member supporting a flexible, travel-involved lifestyle

Qualifications:

• Background: Experience on yachts between 70-100ft+ with service excellence; Silver Star training a plus

• Skills:

  • Line handling

  • Tender/dinghy driving

  • Water toy management

  • Housekeeping or stewardess experience

  • Comfortability assisting family with young child on board 

• Certifications & Experience:

• Valid STCW certification highly preferred; training provided as needed

• 3-5 years minimum experience in yachting

• Familiarity with yachting etiquette and charter operations

• Must be able to work solo under the direction of one captain

• Flexiblity to charter vessels aligned with family travel and charter seasons

• Ideal candidate lives no farther north than Fort Lauderdale; Miami locals strongly preferred
