DOMESTIC COUPLE, LIVE IN, FULL-TIME - The Woodlands, USA

A warm family in The Woodlands, just north of Houston, is looking for a skilled, hands-on couple to help keep their home running smoothly on a long-term, full-time, live-in basis. One partner will focus on housekeeping, laundry, and clothing care. The other will focus on general property maintenance, light gardening, and hands-on handyman work. This couple would be joining an established, harmonious team.

Duties:

Housekeeper / Laundress (Partner One):

• Daily housekeeping to a good, consistent standard — using the right products and methods for different surfaces and materials.
• Care of the family's clothing — laundering, pressing, and mending desirable
• Use of the home's alterations room for mending and light repairs.
• Table setting, light flower arranging, and supporting the home's daily presentation.
• Light cooking of simple, balanced meals when needed.

Property Handyman / Gardener (Partner Two):

• Hands-on day-to-day upkeep of the property — practical, capable, and timely.
• Working competence across trades such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC checks, and light DIY repairs. Outside vendors are brought in for what can't be handled in-house.
• Garden and grounds care — including rose gardens and vegetable/herb gardens.
• General upkeep of vehicles, pool, and household equipment.
• Light chauffeuring and errands.

Shared:

• Warm, calm demeanour; comfortable around children and pets.
• Team-oriented — happy to take direction and work alongside the family's long-standing household staff.
• Willing to lend a hand across the day-to-day as things come up.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in your respective trade — housekeeping and laundry/sewing for Partner One; property maintenance, gardening, and handyman work for Partner Two.
• Clean driving records.
• Legally authorised to work in the U.S.
• Fluent English.
• Non-smokers.
• Interested in a long-term position.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime hours, 40 hours per week. Occasional weekend availability desirable. Final schedule to be confirmed.

Salary Offered: Approximately US $150,000 combined per year for the couple.

Accommodation: Live-in — private accommodation provided.
