Our client is seeking a highly experienced HANDS-ON Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and functionality of a premier waterfront estate in Coral Gables. The ideal candidate must have significant experience in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing repairs along with a basic knowledge of construction. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the estate's facilities and have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in property maintenance, preferably in luxury residences, 5-star boutique hotels or similar high-end environments, and be bilingual in both English and Spanish- verbal and written. This position reports to the Estate Manager.
Maintenance Oversight and Supervision:
- Provide technical assessments and recommendations to improve operational efficiency, energy use, and long-term sustainability of the property.
- Oversee contractors, and vendors, ensuring all work is completed in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, and provide bilingual support (English and Spanish) as needed.
- Perform regular inspections of all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Create smooth coordination with property management, staff, and contractors to ensure all maintenance activities align with the overall goals of the estate.

Display excellent organizational and planning skills, capable of handling multiple priorities under pressure.
Administrative, Planning, Compliance and Budgeting:

Maintain a detailed inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize property downtime and ensure systems are running optimally.

Manage budget expectations in securing quotes as directed with prior approval.
