Private Household Personal Assistant / Household Coordinator

A private household in Greenwich, CT is seeking a polished, highly organized, culturally aware, and tech-savvy Personal Assistant / Household Coordinator to support the daily operations of a fast-moving private residence.
This role requires someone who can move easily between polished front-facing communication and hands-on household support, without ego and without needing every task defined in advance.
The right candidate will be professionally presentable, discreet, practical, and willing to jump in wherever needed. The household requires someone who can communicate appropriately with principals, doctors’ offices, galleries, restaurants, vendors, drivers, staff, and outside contacts, while also being comfortable running errands, managing details, and supporting the household through the late afternoon and early evening as needs arise.
This is a hands-on support role, not a formal executive-level position. The ideal candidate will be sophisticated in presentation and communication, but grounded, flexible, and service-minded in their approach.
Schedule: Full-time, onsite in Greenwich, CT. Regular hours are anticipated to be approximately 10:30 AM–6:30 PM, with flexibility required based on household needs. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a service-oriented household environment where priorities can shift and occasional later coverage may be needed.
Responsibilities include:

Managing and organizing medical appointments, records, portals, notes, follow-ups, prescriptions, and related communications

Coordinating calendars, reminders, reservations, appointments, household schedules, and daily logistics

Running errands, handling returns, shopping, pickups, deliveries, and last-minute requests

Communicating with vendors, doctors’ offices, drivers, household staff, restaurants, galleries, and outside contacts

Assisting with household projects, gifting, inventories, files, and special requests

Supporting principals with technology, including phones, computers, calendars, email, apps, documents, portals, and basic troubleshooting

Preparing clear written notes, reminders, lists, and follow-up communications

Helping maintain organized household systems, contacts, files, and shared information

Adjusting quickly when plans change, including occasional late days or urgent same-day requests

Stepping in wherever needed to help keep the household running smoothly

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Personal Assistant, Family Assistant, Household Coordinator, Executive Assistant, or similar support role

Compensation: $110,000–$120,000, depending on experience and overall fit.
