Driver/Family Assistant for a Couple on the Upper East Side

Salary:

Compensation: $35 – $40/hour

Role Overview:

The Driver/Family Assistant will provide dedicated driving services to a couple residing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, along with additional family assistance duties as required. This position demands a highly reliable individual capable of maintaining confidentiality and discretion in handling personal matters.

The couple will provide the vehicle for you to drive them.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and timely transportation for the family to various destinations including work, social events, and errands.
• Maintain the cleanliness and regular maintenance of the family vehicle.
• Assist with the organization and management of household tasks, including grocery shopping and running errands.
• Act as a liaison between family members and other service providers or vendors.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and traffic regulations while driving.
• Be available for occasional evening or weekend work as required by the family’s schedule.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Flexible schedule with a willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

Desired Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a private family driver.
• Experience working in a household environment with family-oriented roles.
• Prior experience in a similar metropolitan area, especially New York, is a plus.
