Content Development Partner
Private Office | Palm Beach, Florida | Full-Time, Hybrid with Some Travel
This is a role for a gifted writer and editorial mind who wants their craft in service of ideas that actually reach people. You will help shape the books, newsletter, podcast, and media of an author, speaker, and thought leader whose work helps people live and lead more authentically. You thrive behind the scenes, you hold a high bar, and you find real satisfaction in making excellent work land with the people it is meant for. If that is you, keep reading.
You take big ideas, moving conversations, and fast-changing priorities and turn them into clear strategy, finished content, and meaningful outcomes. When the volume turns up, you get calmer, clearer, and more grounded. That is where you do your best work.
The Opportunity
You will serve as their primary content development partner, working in close partnership with them, their Chief of Staff, and the core creative team. You are both a strategic thought partner and the executional engine that makes the content operation move. You lean ahead, you connect the dots across people and projects, and you own the outcome from idea to finished piece. You do not simply route work to others and wait. You produce your own deliverables, you stand behind them, and you orchestrate the people and partners around you to bring everything home with excellence.
This role owns content development and editorial strategy. Channel production, social media, and video editing live with a dedicated creative content producer who partners closely with you. Your lane is the thinking, the writing, the arc, and the standard.
What You Will Own
Editorial and Content Strategy. You are the keeper of the flame on voice, message, and standard. You see the whole body of work, not just the next deadline. You know what they are building toward, and you shape a content strategy that gets there with intention, leaning ahead rather than waiting for direction.
Newsletter. End-to-end ownership of a recurring newsletter: writing, editing, formatting, and delivery. You synthesize voice, direction, and source material into content that is true to the essence of their voice and the brand.
Books and Publishing Projects. You support and help drive book and publishing work from concept through delivery: shaping material, holding the through-line, managing timelines and collaborators, and protecting the integrity of their words at every stage.
Podcast and Media Preparation. You handle the creative prep for podcast and media appearances. Research, briefing documents, talking points, and supporting materials are thoughtful, accurate, and ready before anyone has to ask.
Content Development and Repurposing. You find the second life in every piece. Talks become essays. Interviews become newsletters. Conversations become campaigns. You extract, reframe, and redistribute across platforms without ever diluting the message, partnering with the creative producer on execution.
Editorial Calendar and Air Traffic Control. You build the calendar, own it, and maintain it. You run ruthless, thoughtful project management across everything in motion. You know what is coming, what needs source material, and what is ready to publish. Nothing gets lost on your watch.
Operational Excellence. You create systems where none exist and maintain exceptional standards of organization and follow-through. You handle confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
Who You Are
You are hard to categorize because you excel across disciplines. You may come from publishing, content strategy, editorial operations, podcast or media production, or a high-performing private office. What matters most is not your title. It is your capacity, your character, and your judgment.
A Gifted Writer and Editor. This is foundational, not a nice-to-have. Your writing is clean, precise, and on-tone. You can disappear into someone else's voice completely and make it sing. You edit with rigor: nothing vague, nothing soft, nothing that does not earn its place on the page.
You Produce, and You Own the Outcome. You are confident in your own work product. You put your writing in front of them, you take the note without ego, and you turn it cleanly. You collaborate with other teams and you orchestrate partners, but the outcome is yours and you carry it like it is.
You Have Done This in Growth. You have supported an author, founder, or public figure as their work scaled, so you already have the muscle for it: leaning ahead in strategy, moving forward with imperfect information, making the call, adjusting, and closing the loop. You do not wait for ideal conditions and you do not wait to be told.
Anticipatory and Self-Directed. You operate three steps ahead. You identify needs before others see them and show up with answers before anyone asks. Working independently, you need no managing. You know what needs to happen, you go do it, and it gets done right.
A Team Player and Self-Directed, in Equal Measure. You make the people around you better and you take direction without friction. And when you are on your own, you need no oversight. Both are true at once. That combination is rare, and it is exactly what this role requires.
Service-Oriented, Humble, and Driven. You are here because the work matters. The best work you do will often go unnoticed by everyone except the people it reaches, and that is the job. You check your ego at the door, you set a high bar for yourself, and you do not stop at good enough. Work ethic is not something you perform. It is simply how you operate.
Administratively Exceptional. You are detailed, organized, and precise, the kind of operator others quietly depend on. Systems, workflows, asset libraries, editorial calendars: you build them instinctively and maintain them obsessively. That precision is not a support function. It is what makes the creative operation possible.
What Success Looks Like
Six months in: content is thoughtful, strategic, and consistently delivered. The editorial calendar runs without friction. The body of work has a clear arc and is building. Long-form material finds its second life across platforms. They have more space to think and to create. The team feels supported. And everyone quietly wonders how they ever operated without you.
Logistics
Location: Hybrid. Local to Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, or Miami. On-site presence required when needed. Some travel may be required.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience. Results and value created matter more than tenure.
Experience: 7+ years in content strategy, editorial, publishing, executive content support, or similar high-performance environments, ideally including time spent supporting an author, founder, or brand through a period of rapid growth.
To Apply

Formal cover letters are not necessary. We are looking for an exceptional person with uncommon capacity, humility, judgment, and heart. If you are energized by meaningful work and driven to create extraordinary outcomes behind the scenes, we would love to meet you.
