Private Residence Housekeeper

A private family of five is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain their 10,000-square-foot residence in Summerlin. The home is fully staffed with a live-in nanny, personal assistant/household manager, one other housekeeper and a laundress. The ideal candidate has experience in high-end private homes, yachts, or luxury hotels/resorts and takes pride in creating an impeccably maintained and organized environment. We are open to someone who is green, but willing to learn and take direction.

This is an excellent opportunity for a career housekeeper seeking a long-term position in a well-managed private household. We are really looking for someone to integrate well into the team.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and upkeep of all living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
• Ongoing organization and maintenance of cabinets, drawers, pantry, refrigerator/freezer, and storage areas
• Monitor household supplies and notify the Household Manager when inventory is low
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, countertops)
• Dust surfaces and baseboards; disinfect high-touch areas
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
• Make beds and change linens with attention to detail
• Clean and sanitize kitchen; wash dishes; empty trash
• Receive and properly store grocery deliveries
• Assist with packages and light organizational tasks to maintain a clutter-free home
• Perform deep cleaning and special projects when the family is out of town
• Ability to pivot and be flexible. This is a fast-paced household, with young children who are always growing and changing and therefore so it the house.
• Work comfortably in a home with a 2 dogs
• Work with systems that are set up in the house to ensure all tasks are being completed on time

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–3+ years of experience in a private residence, yacht, or 5-star hotel/resort is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail (e.g., perfectly made beds, aligned items, polished finishes)
• Highly organized with the ability to maintain structured systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with household staff
• Physically capable of lifting and moving items, standing for extended periods
• Professional, reliable, trustworthy, and discreet
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and respect household privacy
• Must pass a formal background check
• Fluent in English is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• $25 per hour based on experience
