Laundress – Manhattan, NYC

Private family of four seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Laundress to oversee all garment care and wardrobe maintenance for a busy household in Manhattan, with summer travel to Southampton.

The ideal candidate has experience working with fine garments, luxury fabrics, and high-end household linens, and is confident managing laundry with exceptional attention to detail. Basic sewing, tailoring, and mending skills are required, and seamstress experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily laundering, pressing, steaming, and organization of clothing and linens
• Care for delicate and designer garments
• Basic sewing, alterations, and repairs
• Closet and wardrobe organization
• Seasonal packing and coordination for Southampton residence

Schedule:
Monday–Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

• $60–$65 per hour
