HOUSE MANAGER/CHEF & DRIVER REQUIRED FOR HNW FAMILY IN CHELSEA

A high-net-worth family based in Chelsea is looking for a proactive, organised, and hands-on House Manager/Chef & Driver to join their household team. This is a full-time live-out position ideal for someone who is professional yet personable, with a can-do attitude and the ability to manage a variety of day-to-day responsibilities.
You will work alongside and be supported by two other full-time domestic staff and liaise regularly with the family's PA as well as contractors and suppliers, so the role requires a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Responsible for general property maintenance and minor repairs, you will be tech savvy, as well as a confident London-driver, undertaking errand running tasks for the family and driving them as and when required. As part of the role, you will also manage grocery shopping and cooking family style meals for the family, so someone with confidence in the kitchen is required for this role
Working 5.5 days per week, core working hours are from 2pm-9pm, though flexibility will be required to work different hours on occasion, including being available to work over weekends. The family have two school-aged children, so they are looking to appoint a child-friendly candidate to remain with them long-term. Occasional overseas travel with the family will be required, so flexibility and a valid passport are essential requirements for this role.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Oversee and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for the family's primary residence and home office
- General property maintenance and minor repairs (including garden and indoor pool areas)
- Running errands such as grocery shopping and dry cleaning
- Driving the family, including school runs, appointments, and social engagements — pets included
- Provide occasional care for the family dog
- Coordinate logistics and tasks with the family's PA
- Preparing family-style meals for the family
- Maintain high standards of organisation and cleanliness around the home
- Occasional travel with the family (locally and internationally)
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Prior experience within a HNW private household
- Fluency in spoken English & eligibility to work in the UK
- Full, clean UK driving license and confident London-driver
- Hardworking and dedicated; high attention to detail and exacting standards
- Able to work independently, trustworthy and reliable
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and travel abroad when needed
- Personable, friendly and professional
- Brilliant communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy and able to manage general DIY tasks
- Child friendly and pet friendly
- Ability to prepare family-style meals
