A private family is seeking a hands-on Houseman/Property Manager to oversee multiple properties in the greater Seattle area. The ideal candidate is based locally and comfortable commuting between locations. This position requires a balance of strong technical ability and professionalism, with the ability to move seamlessly between hands-on property work and indoor operations directly with the family. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of private residences
• Perform hands-on work including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Manage preventative maintenance and troubleshoot property systems
• Source and manage vendors; oversee projects as needed
• Maintain organized records of systems, service history, and vendors
• Communicate regularly with the Principal and manage ongoing priorities

Qualifications

• Prior experience in property management required
• Strong hands-on skills (mechanical, electrical, general maintenance)
• Project management experience is a plus
• Ability to shift between a professional and hands-on work environment
• Established vendor relationships in the Seattle area preferred
