Houseman Manager/Driver

The House Manager/Driver will maintain a private residence in Pasadena. The House Manager will possess strong communication, organizational and hospitality skills and will be enthusiastic about taking on a wide range of tasks and provide personal service to the family.

Responsibilities:

• Keep the residence, grounds, and all systems are properly maintained and are in excellent working condition.
• Schedule, coordinate, and provide oversight of the maintenance for the property.
• Schedule and meet with subcontractors for estimates on seasonal maintenance projects and submit for approval, supervise subcontractors
• Test appliances and home systems on a regular basis.
• Oversee vendors and service providers (i.e.: pest control, landscaper, décor, etc.).
• Maintain sufficient inventories of household supplies.
• Oversee and work hands-on with other staff to manage quality and household standards
• Keep the residence clean, tidy, fully stocked and procure all requested amenities as requested by the family
• Provide transportation for family and friends when needed in various type of automobiles including, Cadillac Escalades and Mercedes Passenger Sprinter Van.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in similar role for UHNW family with verifiable references.
• Extensive knowledge of household management and administrative support duties.
• Strong organizational, time-management, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience driving passengers in a Sprinter Van
• Route Planning when driving.
• Knowledge of Southern California freeways, entertainment venues, sports venues.
• Ability to have a cohesive and effective working relationship with the residence’s housekeeping and administrative staff.
• Maintaining and demonstrating high confidentiality and discretion; prompt and clear communication are paramount.
• Physically able to lift items and move around a large property, climb stairs, etc.

Schedule:

• This is a full-time, year-round, live-out opportunity. The general work schedule is Monday through Friday however the House Manager will be on duty and/or available and additional working days and hours should be expected; this may include holidays, weekends, evenings, school breaks, etc.
