A private principal is seeking a polished and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join a two-person household team providing seamless coverage throughout the week. This role is best suited for someone who genuinely enjoys maintaining an impeccably run home, preparing simple, nutritious meals, and ensuring the residence remains organized, stocked, and guest-ready at all times. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and service-minded with previous experience supporting UHNW or HNW principals in private residences. They understand how to anticipate household needs, maintain exceptionally high housekeeping standards, and work collaboratively with other household staff while exercising the utmost discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed daily housekeeping to maintain the residence at white-glove standards
- Complete daily household resets including kitchen, bathrooms, living spaces, and bedrooms
- Manage laundry, ironing, steaming, wardrobe care, linens, towels, and closet organization
- Maintain household inventory and ensure all household supplies remain fully stocked
- Grocery shop and purchase household essentials as needed
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and meal prep for the principal
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and operating efficiently
- Receive packages, coordinate deliveries, and maintain household organization
- Run household errands, returns, and dry cleaning
- Prepare the residence for guests and entertaining
- Coordinate with vendors and notify the team of maintenance or household needs
- Assist with occasional dinner service and light entertaining support
- Work closely with the Executive Personal Assistant/Lifestyle Manager and Tuesday-Saturday Housekeeper/Cook to ensure continuity between schedules
- Maintain complete confidentiality while supporting all aspects of the principal's household
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in private households supporting UHNW or HNW principals
- Strong housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe, and household management experience
- Comfortable preparing healthy, everyday meals and meal prep
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision
- Warm, polished, and highly professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills and collaborative working style
- Exceptional discretion and integrity
- Flexible, adaptable, and highly service-oriented
- Positive attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | Approximately 11AM-8/10PM with flexibility as needed
Compensation: Up to $50/hour based on experience
