Compensation: $75,000

Overview

A UHNW private residence is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Exterior Houseman to oversee the daily presentation, maintenance, and operational support of the estate grounds and exterior amenities. This position requires a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful property and ensuring all exterior areas operate at the highest standard.

The ideal candidate is organized, observant, and confident managing vendors, property projects, and ongoing maintenance needs. This individual will work closely with the Director of Residences and will receive training regarding the property's systems, standards, and expectations.

Responsibilities

Estate & Grounds Oversight

• Monitor the overall appearance and condition of the estate grounds
• Ensure exterior spaces remain clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Oversee pool, spa, sauna, beach, and outdoor recreation areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool house and related facilities
• Raise and lower flags as directed
• Monitor irrigation systems, landscaping, and exterior maintenance needs

Vendor Management & Project Support

• Coordinate with landscapers, pool vendors, maintenance contractors, and service providers
• Gather detailed information regarding proposed projects, including costs, scope of work, timelines, and vendor recommendations
• Report findings and recommendations to the Director of Residences
• Follow up on project execution and vendor performance

Property Maintenance & Organization

• Assist with stocking and organizing exterior storage areas and supplies
• Monitor exterior equipment and maintenance schedules
• Ensure outdoor amenities remain fully operational and properly maintained
• Assist with light hands-on maintenance tasks as needed

Household Logistics

• Run household errands as required
• Maintain family vehicles, including fueling, servicing, detailing, and scheduling maintenance appointments
• Assist with property-related projects and special requests
