Busy couple is seeking an experienced part-time or full-time Housekeeper to support their existing staff across homes in NYC, Riverdale, and Millbrook, NY. Responsibilities include but not limited to: general housekeeping and organizing, laundry and ironing, grocery shopping, ordering household supplies, maintaining the pantry, and preparing simple meals as needed. The role may also involve assisting a senior family member, including shopping for them or accompanying them to doctor’s appointments. The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, and has a positive attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively alongside other staff. Candidates must have prior experience working with elderly principals and possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Must have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle for work (gas and mileage will be reimbursed). The part-time schedule is approximately 2 days per week (around 20 hours), with Fridays required and a second day flexible. Flexibility to provide additional coverage (up to two weeks) with advance notice is essential. A full-time schedule can be offered to the right candidate, with specific hours to be discussed. Salary is $40 - $50/hr+ DOE, along with paid time off and potential for more hours and eligibility for health insurance.
