Farm Hand (2 Positions) — Regenerative Farm | Fairview, TN
A holistic-driven family is seeking two full-time Farm Hands to support daily operations on their 800-acre organic regenerative farm in Fairview, Tennessee. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, values-driven environment focused on sustainability, land stewardship, and thoughtful living. The property is immaculately maintained and held to very high standards of cleanliness, organization, and care, and the Farm Hands will play an important role in upholding these standards across the farm and grounds.
This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in physical work, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. While previous farm or equipment experience is preferred, the family is happy to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Position Details
- Location: Fairview, TN
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Hours: 40–50 hours per week
- Occasional weekends: Approximately once per month (animal care rotations — morning and evening, approx. 3 hours total, not full-day shifts)
- Compensation: $50K-$80K annually (based on experience)
- Start Date: Immediate
About the Property
This 800-acre regenerative farm includes:
- Highland cows (with additional cattle coming soon)
- Chickens and goats
- Approximately 400,000 bees
- Trails, pastures, and extensive grounds
- Greenhouses & produce
The farm is supported by a collaborative team including a construction manager, property manager, and additional staff. A dedicated team member primarily oversees daily animal care; however, Farm Hands will assist with animal responsibilities on a rotating basis, including occasional weekend coverage. Farm Hands will report directly to the owners and work closely with the broader team to support overall property operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily farm operations across the property
- Clean and maintain coops, pens, and animal enclosures
- Groundskeeping including mowing, trimming, and trail maintenance
- Manicure trails and maintain outdoor spaces
- Power wash driveways and farm structures as needed
- Assist with fence repairs, gates, and general property upkeep
- Operate tractors and farm equipment (training offered)
- Support seasonal projects and property improvements
- Assist with general land stewardship and regenerative farm practices
- Work collaboratively with the farm and property team
Qualifications
- Previous farm, ranch, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred
- Experience operating tractors or equipment strongly preferred (but not required)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing manual labor
- Comfortable working around animals
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Self-starter with ability to take initiative
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- No smoking or substance use permitted on the property
