The Role
Governess · Educator · Thought Partner
This role is fully embedded within a private family household and requires someone who can move seamlessly between world-class education and the rhythms of a dynamic home environment.
You will design and lead an exceptional homeschool experience rooted in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), supported by rigorous STEM education, inquiry-based learning, global exposure, and integrated creative expression.
This is a highly personalized, deeply collaborative role for someone who thrives in high-trust environments and genuinely loves children.

- Designing and leading a bespoke IB PYP homeschool curriculum

Qualifications
Required Experience & Background
- Proven experience as a governess, private educator, or homeschool educator within a private household
- IB PYP certification and demonstrated hands-on implementation experience
- Strong STEM background with the ability to inspire young learners
- Master’s degree in Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of teaching or educational leadership experience
- Experience designing curriculum from the ground up
- Strong understanding of child development and inquiry-based learning
- Musical ability or strong appreciation for music integration in education
- Experience traveling internationally with families preferred
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, professionalism, and adaptability
- Comfort using AI tools and modern educational technology
