This role works in close partnership with the House Manager and reports directly to the House Manager & Chief of Staff. You will also directly oversee a dedicated exterior team member and collaborate across a highly professional household staff.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Estate & Grounds Stewardship
You will oversee the day-to-day presentation, maintenance, and operational excellence of all exterior areas of the estate.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining immaculate presentation of all outdoor spaces
- Power washing driveways, walkways, porches, exterior surfaces, and outdoor furnishings
- Overseeing landscaping and lawn care to the highest aesthetic standards
- Window cleaning coordination and exterior detailing
- Maintaining front entrances, property walls, pathways, and guest arrival areas
- Ensuring all trash and service areas remain exceptionally clean and organized
- Overseeing and maintaining children’s outdoor play areas with a strong focus on safety and presentation
- Conducting daily property walkthroughs to proactively identify issues before they escalate
This role requires someone who notices details immediately and takes initiative without being asked.
Pools, Spas & Water Features
You will oversee all aquatic and water systems across the estate, ensuring every area remains guest-ready and fully operational at all times.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily oversight of pools, spas, pumps, fountains, and water systems
- Monitoring water chemistry, filtration systems, cleanliness, and equipment performance
- Coordinating repairs and servicing with vendors when necessary
- Identifying issues proactively before they impact operations or guest experience
- Maintaining luxury hospitality-level presentation standards across all water facilities
Facilities Management & Skilled Troubleshooting
This position requires strong working knowledge across multiple trades and a highly proactive maintenance mindset.
You do not need to be a licensed contractor, but you must be highly competent in assessing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues independently whenever possible.
Areas of knowledge include:
- Plumbing systems
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Lighting systems
- HVAC monitoring and preventative care
- General repairs and maintenance
- Construction coordination
- Smart home systems and automation
- Audio/visual and connected home technology
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, highly resourceful, and comfortable solving problems quickly and calmly.
Vendor & Project Management
You will act as the operational lead for all exterior and facilities-related vendors.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing vendor relationships with professionalism and accountability
- Scheduling and supervising vendor visits
- Ensuring all work meets estate standards
- Holding vendors accountable for quality, timeliness, and discretion
- Coordinating projects from start to finish
- Serving as the on-site point person so principals are never burdened with operational details
This role requires exceptional follow-through and communication skills.
Team Leadership
You will directly manage a dedicated exterior operations team member and help create a culture of pride, consistency, accountability, and excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Delegating and overseeing daily exterior operations
- Creating structure and accountability
- Maintaining consistent operational standards
- Leading by example with professionalism and work ethic
- Ensuring all tasks are completed thoroughly and proactively
Vehicles & Transportation Support
You will assist in maintaining all household vehicles and support transportation-related logistics as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Vehicle washing and detailing
- Fueling and monitoring maintenance schedules
- Maintaining pristine vehicle presentation
- Assisting with luggage and travel logistics when needed
- Supporting occasional errands and operational requests for the household
