A private family in Miami Beach is seeking a professional, polished, and service-oriented Personal Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for the Principal. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys driving, takes pride in providing exceptional service, and understands the importance of discretion, punctuality, and anticipating a Principal's needs.
THE HOUSEHOLD
This position supports a busy husband and wife in their Miami Beach residence. Daily transportation will primarily be for the Principals, with occasional driving for visiting family members and guests. The household values professionalism, reliability, discretion, and a collaborative team environment. The Personal Driver will work closely with the Principals and household staff to ensure transportation is seamless, efficient, and always executed with the highest level of service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Transportation
- Safely transport the Principal to and from the residence, office, meetings, appointments, and social engagements
- Provide airport transportation as needed
- Assist with errands as needed
- Drive household pets to veterinary or grooming appointments when requested
- Monitor traffic conditions and proactively plan the most efficient routes
- Maintain flexibility for schedule changes and last-minute requests
Vehicle Management
- Maintain all assigned household vehicles to the highest standard
- Ensure vehicles remain clean, fueled, serviced, and ready for use at all times
- Keep vehicles stocked with essentials such as bottled water, phone chargers, umbrellas, tissues, and other requested items
- Coordinate routine maintenance, inspections, detailing, and repairs as needed
SCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday
- Approximately 9:30 AM-4:30 PM
- Flexibility to work early mornings, occasional evenings and weekends as needed (especially for airport transfers)
- Full-time, live-out position
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a polished, dependable professional who understands the level of service expected in a private household. They are proactive, punctual, and always thinking several steps ahead. They know Miami's roads exceptionally well, anticipate traffic before it becomes an issue, and consistently provide a smooth, comfortable driving experience.
Successful candidates will also possess:
- Previous experience providing chauffeur or private household driving services
- Extensive knowledge of Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding areas
- Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Professional appearance and demeanor (dress slacks and collared shirt required)
- Strong communication skills with a service-first attitude
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
- Ability to remain calm and flexible when schedules change
- Comfortable working around pets
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required
- Commitment to maintaining the Principal's vehicle preferences at all times (quiet cabin, no personal Bluetooth use, no loud music, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively with household staff while operating independently
- Vehicles to drive principals around will be provided when on duty. Must have your own vehicle to get to and from work
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Start Date: Flexible for the right candidate
- $85,000 annually
- 2 weeks PTO (available after a 90 day probationary period and cannot conflict with Principal's schedule)
- Medical stipend/Health insurance (available after a 90 day probationary period)
