Experienced Nanny | Private Family | New York City + Travel

A warm and dynamic private family based in New York City is seeking an exceptional, experienced nanny to join their household and provide thoughtful, hands-on support for their three school-aged children, ages 11, 9, and 6.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional nanny looking for a long-term position with a kind, active family and an attractive compensation and benefits package. The children are all in school during the day, allowing for a structured schedule with time to stay ahead of their needs, activities, wardrobes, and travel preparation.

The position is primarily based in New York City, with occasional travel to the family’s additional residences in Southhampton, Florida and Bahamas, as well as international travel, including Europe.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school drop-offs and pick-ups alongside the family driver

• Manage after-school activities, appointments, and changing schedules

• Help keep the children organized and prepared for school and activities

• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children

• Handle children’s laundry and wardrobe organization

• Maintain organization of children’s bedrooms, closets, and personal belongings

• Pack and unpack for family travel

• Assist with travel preparation and accompany the family when needed

• Anticipate the children’s needs and provide general child-related support

• Communicate and coordinate with parents and other household staff to ensure schedules run smoothly

Schedule

The family is open to structuring the position based on the right candidates. Options may include:

• One full-time, live-in nanny, or

• Two nannies providing complementary coverage, with the possibility of one position being part-time
