L&J Staffing Company is conducting a confidential search for an experienced, full-time Boat Captain to manage and operate a privately owned vessel for a discerning principal.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating and maintaining private vessels, along with exceptional technical knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail. This individual will oversee all aspects of vessel operations, maintenance coordination, safety compliance, and ensure the vessel remains in impeccable, owner-ready condition. 40-70 foot boat experience, from the Northeast to down South.
Qualifications:
- Current USCG Captain’s License and all required certifications.
- Proven experience operating private vessels; larger yacht experience is preferred.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Formal maritime education or trade school is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Professional, discreet, proactive, and service-oriented.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
