A couple is seeking an experienced, polished, and service-oriented Private Family Chef to join a long-term household team.

The household values fresh, seasonal ingredients, beautifully prepared food, consistency, discretion, and a collaborative approach. While creativity is appreciated, the greatest measure of success is preparing meals they genuinely look forward to enjoying every day.

Culinary Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare fresh daily lunches, dinners, snacks, desserts, and frequent entertaining menus.
  • Create balanced, flavorful meals using high-quality seasonal ingredients tailored to the family's individual preferences and routines.
  • Prepare a variety of lighter, health-conscious dishes alongside classic everyday favorites.
  • Source exceptional ingredients from local markets, specialty purveyors, and farmers markets.
  • Prepare and organize meals for non-cooking days, including proper labeling, storage, and reheating instructions.
  • Maintain an impeccably clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen, pantry, refrigerators, and food storage systems.
  • Execute casual entertaining and dinners with confidence and professionalism.

Household Support

  • Greeting guests and assisting with gathering setup.
  • Providing beverage and table service during meals.
  • Answering the household phone or gate when needed.
  • Assisting with the family dog as necessary.
  • Working collaboratively with the Estate Manager and household staff to ensure the smooth daily operation of the residence.

Professional Expectations

  • Significant experience as a Private Chef within a private residence or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong foundation in fresh, seasonal, health-conscious cooking.
  • Be receptive to feedback and naturally adapt to the family's preferences over time.
  • Bring a calm, polished, flexible, and service-minded presence to the home.
  • Equally comfortable preparing lighter cuisine and traditional family favorites.
  • Excellent palate, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of kitchen organization, food safety, inventory management, and meal preparation.

 Schedule: Five days per week, with flexibility required for entertaining and household needs.
