Location: Orinda, California.
Schedule: The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Additional date night hours may occasionally be needed with advance notice.
Children: 2 years old.
Duties: The duties include providing childcare, planning and leading age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities including reading, music, imaginative play, arts and crafts, and enrichment outings, driving the child to activities and classes, meal prep and cooking for the child, support the child's routine, light housekeeping and organization, grocery shopping, stocking supplies, running errands, and pet care. Occasional domestic travel is optional.
Requirements: This family is seeking a dedicated, career-minded caregiver with hands-on toddler experience who deeply respects early childhood development, natural curiosity, and a child's emotional pace. The ideal candidate is an attentive, detail-oriented communicator who follows the child’s cues, collaborates thoughtfully with parents, and maintains an organized environment. For this role, you must be a driver (car provided), tech-savvy, and comfortable with large, friendly dogs. Because this is a scent-free home, strong hygiene practices and a willingness to change into indoor-only clothing and shoes are required. Additionally, candidates must be fully vaccinated, including up-to-date annual flu, Tdap, MMR, and Varicella shots.
Salary: $40.00-$45.00
Benefits: This position offers two weeks paid vacation, seven paid holidays, five paid sick days, plus guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year, and a monthly medical stipend. Additionally the client will be using a payroll service.
