Full-Time ROTA Nanny | Upper East Side, New York City

Position Overview

A welcoming family on the Upper East Side seeks a top-notch, ROTA career Nanny to care for their newborn as they develop into a toddler and beyond. The ideal applicant will have 10+ years of experience, be interested in child development and education, possess a deeply warm, but firm care style and be able to remain organized, flexible and professional in a fast-paced, fully staffed home.

Schedule

• Two weeks on, two weeks off ROTA schedule
• Start Date: December 2026

Responsibilities

• Planning activities, including researching and booking local classes
• Engaging in age-appropriate play and supporting healthy development
• Monitoring developmental milestones
• Diapering, bathing, bottle feeding, and sterilizing bottles and toys
• Maintaining feeding and sleep schedules
• Guiding developmental transitions, including food progression, toilet training, and socialization skills
• Traveling with the family as needed, primarily during holidays and summer weekends in Bedford
• Working collaboratively within a fully staffed household while confidently taking the lead on all childcare responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of professional nanny experience, including extensive newborn care experience
• Strong interest in child development and early childhood education
• Deeply warm, nurturing, yet confident with a caring but firm approach
• Highly organized, flexible, dependable, and professional
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully staffed household
• Experienced caring for infants and confidently supporting each developmental stage through toddlerhood and beyond
• Comfortable collaborating with parents and household staff while confidently taking ownership of all childcare responsibilities
• Willing and able to travel with the family as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000–$170,000 annual compensation, $700-$1,000/day for an NCS, depending on experience
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Open to local (live-in or live-out) or fly-in/fly-out candidates
• Travel expenses between the nanny's home and New York covered for fly-in/fly-out candidates
• All travel, lodging, and meals covered while traveling with the family
