An experienced Private Estate Houseman is sought to maintain a luxury private residence to the highest standards. This position does not encompass personal assistant, estate manager or house manager responsibilities.
Core duties include:
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the residence
- Dusting and polishing
- Cleaning debris with a blower
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Cleaning outdoor surfaces, including windows and skylights
- Pressure washing
- Removing cobwebs
- Keeping equipment areas clean
- Monitoring vendors to ensure proper completion of work and cleanliness of areas
This role requires physical stamina, including standing and walking throughout the day, frequent bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting at least 75 lbs. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential attributes.
A minimum of three years of recent verifiable experience as a houseman in a private estate of 8,000 square feet or larger is required. References will be verified. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driving license with a clean driving record. A professional appearance, strong work ethic, and reliability are imperative.
The schedule is full-time, comprising five days per week, including one weekend day. Flexibility is required for occasional evening or overtime based on operational needs. Compensation begins at $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Additional Skills
