THE COMPANY:
EMC Companies was founded on the idea that we all have the same 24 hours in a day, and those with limited free time should spend it doing things they enjoy, not managing a house. There is continual maintenance, small projects, and a task list that everyone seems to dread looking at. Here at EMC, we offer fractional estate management, letting our clients choose how much they want us involved without the obligation of full time hours.
Whether it’s completing a small project, helping with bi-annual maintenance, or checking off a small task on the list, we apply the same level of concierge service across the board. Our ever-growing, large network of subs helps make us reliable and efficient, resulting in more homeowners joining our list every day.
THE ROLE:
As our dedicated handyman, we are looking for someone who is skilled at completing handyman type work in luxury homes, and takes pride in what they do. Ranging from home maintenance work, such as filter changes, exhaust fan cleaning, to larger projects - flooring, painting, & carpentry work are just a few examples.
This job is not for the fans of mundane, as no day is the same, and variety is truly the name of the game. Your role will consist of on-site work, 5 days a week throughout the King County area.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Comfortable with technology - including project management software, email, and phone
- Reliable - we know if you say it, you’ll follow it through
- Experienced - you don't need to have decades of previous experience, but 5+ years is preferred
- Respectful - our clients are high performers who can come across brash, but you don’t take it personally and know how to navigate those conversations and personalities well
We are looking for someone who is not afraid to step up and find the reason we can help, not the reasons we can’t. Most days will be spent independently, either performing work on-site, or driving between clients homes, but comradery always has its place. We still work as team, looking out for each other and supporting our overall success through client satisfaction.
