Position: Housekeeper / Family Assistant

Location: Melbourne Beach, FL

Schedule: Approximately 4 Days Per Week | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours: 20–30 Hours Per Week

Compensation: $22–$28 Per Hour DOE

Start Date: End of July / Early August 2026

Overview

A warm and welcoming family relocating to Melbourne Beach is seeking a proactive, reliable, and family-oriented Family Assistant to help support the day-to-day operations of their busy household. The family has four children ranging in age from 3 to 11 years old, all of whom will be attending school full-time beginning in August.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and takes pride in helping a household run smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, self-motivated, and enjoys supporting both household operations and family life. The family is seeking someone who is warm, caring, and interested in becoming a long-term, valued part of their household.

Responsibilities:

Household Support

• Family laundry, folding, and ironing

• General tidying and household organization

• Maintaining orderly systems throughout the home

• Light housekeeping duties

• Assisting with household inventory and supplies

• Helping support the household during an ongoing home renovation

Family Assistance

• Running errands as needed

• Assisting with grocery shopping and household tasks

• Light meal preparation when requested

• Helping coordinate daily family logistics

Childcare & Transportation

• School pick-ups and transportation as needed

• Assisting with after-school routines

• Providing occasional childcare support

• Serving as an extra set of hands for busy family schedules

Ideal Candidate

• Prior experience as a Family Assistant, Household Assistant, Nanny, or Housekeeper

• Highly organized and proactive

• Self-starter who can identify needs and take initiative

• Warm, positive, and family-oriented personality

• Strong communication skills

• Reliable, trustworthy, and professional

• Comfortable balancing household support and childcare responsibilities

• Confident swimmer preferred due to the property's pool, dock, and beach access

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
