FULL-TIME TEMPORARY FAMILY COOK W/ HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES- BEL AIR, CA (JULY-OCTOBER)

A private family in Bel Air is seeking a warm, experienced, and service-oriented Temporary Family Cook who can also perform light housekeeping duties to support their household from approximately July through mid-October. The majority of the role will focus on daily cooking and meal preparation for the family, along with light housekeeping and general household support as needed.

The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, discreet, and comfortable working in an informal but polished private home environment. Candidates with strong family-style cooking experience, private home experience, and the ability to provide thoughtful household support are highly preferred

Requirements

• Prepare daily meals for the family, including lunch and dinner service
• Create fresh, healthy, family-style meals and assist with light meal planning
• Grocery shop and maintain kitchen organization as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
• Provide light housekeeping support throughout the home as needed
• Assist with laundry, tidying, and general household upkeep
• Maintain flexibility and adaptability to support the family’s changing needs and schedule
• Work collaboratively and professionally within a private household environment
• Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a private home strongly preferred
• Strong cooking abilities with experience preparing fresh family-style meals
• Comfortable balancing cooking responsibilities with light housekeeping support
• Professional, warm, organized, and self-directed
• Flexible schedule and positive attitude
• Strong communication skills and service-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Location: Bel Air, CA

Schedule:

• Approximately July through mid-October
• 5 days per week
• Approximately 8 hours per day
