Full-Time Housekeeper | Bedford, NY

A warm, high-functioning family based in Bedford, New York is seeking an exceptional, detail-oriented full-time Housekeeper to support their busy household. The home is currently undergoing a full gut renovation, creating a dynamic and evolving environment for a proactive and highly organized professional. The property includes a 6,000 sq. ft. main residence, with a 1,200 sq. ft. pool house scheduled for completion in June.
The household consists of two young children, four dogs, and a fully staffed team, including another housekeeper and nannies. This role requires a true team player who is comfortable collaborating and taking direction while maintaining the highest standards of care and discretion.
Compensation & Benefits
• $40–$45/hour, on-the-books payroll

Key Responsibilities
• Full-charge housekeeping with meticulous attention to detail
• Expert laundry care, including washing, folding, steaming, and ironing (linens and garments)
• Bed making and linen changes to a high standard
• Maintaining organization throughout the home, even during renovation phases
• Light meal preparation, including preparing a simple late breakfast as needed
• Running errands and household support using the provided vehicle
• Assisting with pet care, including transporting dogs to vet appointments or emergencies
• Providing occasional household updates to the family while they are away
Qualifications
• Prior experience in a private home with high standards and/or fully staffed households
• Excellent laundry and garment care skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable working in a home with multiple dogs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with other staff
• Professional, discreet, and adaptable in a changing household environment
Additional Details
• The family spends July and August in the Hamptons; candidates may accompany them, but this is not required
• If not traveling, the candidate will be expected to help manage and provide updates on the home during the family’s absence
• Willingness to assist with holiday support (such as Christmas) is a plus, but not required (time-and-a-half provided)
