Busy UHNW family is seeking a professional and experienced live-out Estate Engineer to work in their Palm Beach Gardens, FL home. Ideal candidate has an extensive background in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and general property maintenance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: manage maintenance of the grounds, equipment, systems, and buildings throughout the estate, perform daily inspections, service and repairs, work with vendors, respond to emergency calls, ensure the property is always guest ready, provide daily status reports to House Manager and Estate Manager, provide miscellaneous estate support to the family such as receiving packages, driving, errands, special events, moving furniture, etc. Master Craftsman, Electrical and HVAC certifications and college degree strongly preferred. Must have excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Also must be detailed, have a positive “can-do” attitude, be able to remain calm under pressure, understand urgency, be proactive, and willing to go above and beyond. Schedule: 7am-3/4pm or 9am-5/6pm and will work in rotation including weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work in NY/NJ for short periods of time as needed.
