Household Manager / Executive Housekeeper We are seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and highly organized Household Manager / Executive Housekeeper to help manage the day-to-day care and operation of a private residence in Homer, Georgia. This is not a traditional housekeeping-only position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating and maintaining a beautifully cared-for, organized home and who can independently manage household responsibilities without needing constant direction. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-level residential cleaning, household organization, cooking and meal preparation, along with a good understanding of nutrition and healthy, whole-food cooking. Primary Responsibilities • Maintain the home to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation. • Perform detailed and routine cleaning, including proper care of quality finishes, furnishings, appliances, stone, wood, and other household surfaces. • Maintain household organization, including closets, pantries, kitchen storage, household supplies, and other areas. • Identify household needs and proactively handle tasks before being asked. • Prepare fresh, healthy meals for the family. • Assist with meal planning and grocery lists/shopping as needed. • Have a working knowledge of nutrition, balanced meals, fresh ingredients, and healthy food preparation. • Be comfortable preparing meals primarily from fresh, whole ingredients rather than relying on highly processed foods. • Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked kitchen and pantry. • Assist with laundry, linens, and household upkeep. • Monitor household supplies and replenish items as needed. • Help prepare the home for family gatherings, holidays, guests, and entertaining. • Assist with hosting, serving, setup, and cleanup when needed. • Coordinate or communicate with household vendors and service providers when requested. • Help maintain household routines and systems so the home operates smoothly. • Handle household and family matters with professionalism and complete discretion. Ideal Candidate • Experienced in private-home management, executive housekeeping, or a similar household position. • An excellent and detail-oriented cleaner. • Highly organized and naturally notices what needs to be done. • A capable and confident home cook. • Knowledgeable about nutrition and healthy meal preparation. • Comfortable following family food preferences, recipes, and dietary requirements. • Able to plan and prepare wholesome meals using quality ingredients. • Comfortable working independently and managing their own responsibilities. • Dependable, punctual, and consistent. • Warm and personable while maintaining professional boundaries. • Trustworthy and respectful of the family's privacy. • Comfortable working in a home with pets and animals. • Flexible when occasional household needs arise. • Experienced with entertaining or hosting is a strong plus. Schedule The initial schedule is expected to be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the possibility of expanding to Monday through Thursday. Some occasional weekend availability may be requested for special events, entertaining, holidays, or other household needs with advance notice whenever possible.
