Looking for a Family Assistant / Household Manager / Math Tutor in Boulder

Description

About the Role

A busy, active single father in Boulder is seeking a discreet, highly organized, and emotionally intelligent Family Assistant to help run the full rhythm of his household.  He has 11-year-old boy/girl twins who are fun, active, independent-minded, and approaching their pre-teen years — an exciting stage that calls for a mentor-minded presence as much as a caregiver one.

The successful candidate will become a trusted member of our family’s support team and help create a well-organized, positive, and productive home environment.

This is a long-term role suited to a highly organized, energetic, proactive professional who takes genuine pride in creating systems and executing them at a high level.  The goal is simple: allow dad to be fully present with his kids rather than consumed by household logistics.  You will be a trusted, consistent anchor in the family’s daily life.  The family also has a second home in Vail, where they spend time, especially in the winter months — occasional property oversight of that home is part of this role, and a candidate who skis is warmly welcomed.  An Epic Pass is provided as a benefit for the right person.

Who You Are

You are proactive, solution-oriented, and highly organized.  You notice what needs attention and handle it without being asked.  You bring calm, steady energy to a dynamic environment and thrive on creating order.  You connect naturally with pre-teens — you know how to engage them without being intrusive, encourage independence without being hands-off, and hold appropriate structure without being rigid.  You are emotionally intelligent with children and professional with dad.  You exercise sound judgment, operate with discretion, and take feedback gracefully.  You are seeking a long-term placement, not a stepping stone.
