Full-Time Housekeeper / Household Organizer

A warm and welcoming family of six with four children is seeking an experienced, highly organized Full-Time Housekeeper to support the daily care and presentation of their five-bedroom apartment. This is a long-term opportunity for a career housekeeper who takes pride in creating order, maintaining high standards, and working independently without micromanagement. The family is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to provide consistent, detailed care of the home. The ideal candidate is a true self-starter with a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative in maintaining a well-run household.
Residence: • Five-bedroom apartment • Four children (ages 8 to 16) • One friendly dog • Busy, active household with mom and nanny present during the day
Schedule: • Flexible schedule, 30–40 hours per week
Compensation: • $35–$40 per hour, based on experience - Generous paid time off during Summers and one full week in December
Travel: To Fire Island occasionnaly in the Summer
Responsibilities:
Housekeeping & Deep Cleaning
• Maintain a pristine, organized home at all times
• Deep cleaning and detailed daily upkeep
• Clean and organize refrigerators
• Rotate and discard worn linens and towels
• Pay close attention to fine details and presentation
Organization & Household Systems
• Linen closet organization and towel rotation
• Drawer, closet, and wardrobe organization
• Maintain children’s clothing systems (know whose items belong where)
• Inventory household supplies and track usage
• Maintain cleaning supply stock
Laundry & Wardrobe Care
• Laundry, ironing, folding, and wardrobe management
• Organize drawers and closets
Light Household Support
• Light meal prep
• Occasional dog walking
• Support a busy household environment with children and staff present
