A distinguished professional couple in the Dubuque area is seeking a dynamic, capable Estate Couple to take full ownership of the care and day-to-day running of five private residences.
This is a role for a team who enjoys working together, takes pride in beautiful homes, and thrives in a structured but relaxed environment where no two days are exactly the same.
The principals travel frequently and are looking for a trusted, proactive couple who can step in with confidence, bring order and ease to multiple properties, and ensure everything is always “ready to enjoy” - whether planned or spontaneous.

One of you will bring interiors to life with order, polish, and care. The other will ensure the exteriors, grounds, and logistics are always running smoothly. Together, you create calm, consistency, and readiness across all homes.
Executive Housekeeper – Your Focus
You will take pride in creating interiors that feel fresh, organized, and effortlessly welcoming at all times.
- Oversee all interior care across five residences
- Maintain a consistently pristine, “ready-to-live-in” standard
- Perform and schedule detailed deep cleaning throughout the homes
- Care for fine materials including silver, chandeliers, marble, stone, and wood finishes
- Manage laundry, linens, and wardrobe care with precision
- Keep systems and organization running smoothly behind the scenes
- Coordinate vendors and service providers
- Support entertaining preparation and small gatherings when needed
- Ensure every home always feels calm, clean, and beautifully maintained
Houseman – Your Focus
You are the steady hand that keeps everything outside the homes just as perfect as inside.
- Oversee exterior maintenance and presentation across all properties
- Ensure grounds, patios, and outdoor spaces are always well-kept and functional
- Support property readiness, seasonal upkeep, and light maintenance coordination
- Assist with errands, driving, and day-to-day logistics
- Maintain vehicles and support transportation needs when required
- Work closely with vendors and service teams
- Step in wherever needed to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently

- Discreet, respectful, and comfortable in private household settings
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
- Valid driver’s licenses and reliable transportation
- Fluent in English
- Excellent references required
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for occasional events or property needs
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly compensation: $50-$65 per hour per candidate, based on experience
- Employer-sponsored medical coverage
