A prominent UHNW family in Coral Gables, Florida, is seeking an experienced Laundry Attendant & Housekeeper to join a world-class estate team within a large, multi-structure property. The ideal candidate is an experienced laundress with exceptional garment care skills who also enjoys maintaining a beautifully kept home. They are detail-oriented, service-driven, and knowledgeable in luxury fabric care, using non-toxic, eco-friendly products and techniques whenever possible.
Responsibilities:
- Approximately 75% laundry and wardrobe care and 25% housekeeping, with willingness to flex between two as needed
- Launder, sort, and care for fine garments, linens, and household textiles using proper fabric-specific techniques.
- Expertly treat stains and care for delicate fabrics, including silk, cashmere, and wool.
- Iron, steam, and press clothing and linens to a flawless standard.
- Perform minor sewing repairs, such as replacing buttons and simple hems.
- Organize wardrobes, closets, and assist with packing and unpacking for travel if needed.
- Maintain laundry rooms, wardrobe areas, and supplies in pristine condition.
- Perform daily housekeeping, tidying, organizing, and scheduled deep cleaning throughout the estate.
- Ensure all living spaces are immaculate and guest-ready.
- Uphold the highest level of discretion and adapt to the family's schedule and needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant in a private home, luxury estate, or five-star hospitality environment.
- Exceptional housekeeping skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of luxury surfaces and wardrobe care.
- Prior experience as a laundress, with a deep understanding of the finest, eco-based wardrobe care practices.
- Knowledge of organic, eco-friendly cleaning products.
- Basic seamstress and sewing skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain strict discretion.
- Comfortable working in a fully staffed, multi-department household environment.
- Service-oriented with a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.
- Highly organized with excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn internal apps and property systems.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to changing priorities.
Location: Coral Gables, FL
Schedule: Full-time, on-site, 5 days per week (Tuesday–Saturday); split shifts (AM/PM)
