We are seeking a superstar professional laundress and proactive Housekeeper to manage and maintain modest estate in back country Greenwich, CT. The role goes beyond surface cleaning, the ideal candidate with take ownership over the space and act as a steward of the home.
The primary focus being the Principal's and families laundry and wardrobe care, continuous organisational upkeep and general housekeeping management.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, a deep understanding of caring for luxury materials, fine fabrics, cashmere, natural stone and custom finishes. The ability to work independently and anticipate the household needs.
Experience: 5+ years as Executive Housekeeper, Head Laundress at boutique hotels or high end private residence.
Laundry Mastery: Exceptional ironing skills, fabric care, clothing care and maintenance of fine fabrics & garments.
Discretion & Trustworthy: Absolute commitment to privacy and maintaining boundaries with a private residence.
Communication: English fluent, ability to email, place orders - amazon, Instacart etc and coordinate schedules.
Physical requirements: must have drivers licence, have access to transport, be able to manage multiple flights of stairs, lift 20lb-30lb, stand & walk for extended periods of time.
