Laundress (Part-Time) – Private Residence

Greenwich, Connecticut

A private family in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Laundress to join our household staff on a part-time basis.

Schedule

• 2 days per week

• 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Additional hours may occasionally be available based on household needs.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize all household laundry

• Iron and steam clothing, linens, and specialty fabrics

• Care for luxury garments and delicate textiles according to manufacturer guidelines

• Spot treat stains and inspect garments for proper care

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry room

• Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional laundress experience, preferably in a private home or luxury residence

• Extensive knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, pressing, steaming, and garment maintenance

• High attention to detail and ability to maintain exceptional standards

• Trustworthy, reliable, punctual, and able to maintain complete confidentiality

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Must speak and understand English well

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
