Private Home Housekeeper Cook

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and trustworthy Housekeeper/Cook for a long-term position in a private residence. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home and enjoys preparing fresh, healthy meals. The homeowner lives alone, and an additional housekeeper assists with cleaning three days per week, allowing this position to focus on maintaining the home at a consistently high standard. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, discreet, and genuinely enjoys creating a warm, comfortable, and well-managed home.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the home in immaculate condition, ensuring it is always clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Prepare fresh, healthy lunch and dinner daily for one person.
• Occasionally prepare meals for family gatherings or guests.
• Plan weekly menus and grocery lists, grocery shopping and keeping the kitchen and household supplies fully stocked.
• Laundry, ironing, folding, and proper garment care.
• Run occasional household errands.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
• Communicate professionally regarding household needs and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience working in private homes.
• Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of healthy, home-style meals.
• Strong housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluent English required.
• Must be punctual, dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
