Deckhand/Houseman - UHNW Household

Position: Deckhand / Houseman
Location: Miami, FL & Hamptons, NY (summer travel)
Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday
Compensation: DOE + Benefits

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly professional, detail-oriented Deckhand / Houseman to support a UHNW family across a private yacht and multi-residence estate. This individual will divide their time between maintaining a 72’ yacht and assisting with estate operations, guest readiness, and family logistics. The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative household team committed to excellence and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations, upkeep, and presentation of a 72’ yacht
• Assist with docking, line handling, fueling, cleaning, and detailing to yacht standards
• Maintain exterior readiness and cleanliness of the vessel at all times
• Provide general estate support including household setup, breakdown, and guest preparation
• Assist with weekend family logistics and activities as directed by estate management
• Provide occasional driving support for principals and family
• Work collaboratively with household staff to ensure seamless service
• Uphold strict discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in yachting, private service, or luxury hospitality required
• Strong work ethic with a proactive, “no task too small” mindset
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to high standards
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Clean driving record and confidence operating large SUVs
• Physically fit and comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Dependable, punctual, and polished in demeanor
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
