Job Details
We are seeking, on behalf of our client in Naples, Florida an experienced Groundskeeper / Exterior Property Caretaker to join their professional estate team. This is an outstanding long-term, year-round opportunity supporting a waterfront estate and several nearby residences maintained to the highest standards. Working closely with the Facilities Manager and trusted vendors, the successful candidate will oversee the appearance, care, and maintenance of the exterior grounds, ensuring each property remains beautiful, safe, and ready for the family's enjoyment year-round.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the care and presentation of the estate grounds, gardens, lawns, and exterior living spaces.
• Coordinate and monitor landscaping, irrigation, tree care, pest control, and other exterior service vendors.
• Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems, hardscapes, outdoor lighting, fountains, and exterior amenities, addressing minor issues and reporting larger repairs.
• Monitor plant health and coordinate seasonal plantings and treatments as needed.
• Prepare the properties for seasonal weather, including hurricane preparation and storm cleanup.
• Assist with outdoor event setup, seasonal décor, and special estate projects.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and complete regular property inspections.
• Travel between the family's Naples-area residences to support exterior property care.
• Work collaboratively with the estate team while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience caring for luxury residential estates, high-end properties, or hospitality grounds.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, landscaping, plant care, and exterior property maintenance.
• Experience coordinating landscape and specialty service vendors.
• Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining beautiful properties.
• Flexible to work outside of a normal business schedule, including weekends or holidays
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English required
• Physically able to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to successfully complete a comprehensive background investigation.
