Junior Houseman - Jackson, WY

A distinguished private family in Jackson, Wyoming is seeking a Junior Houseman.  This role requires a proactive individual who enjoys a variety of tasks ranging from property inspections, preparation, and operations, to running errands, pet care, and hospitality touches. The ideal candidate should be organized, have strong communication skills, possess a positive attitude, and an eagerness to contribute to the overall upkeep and management of a beautiful property with expansive grounds. There is an established team of House Manager, Chef,  Sr. Houseman, and two housekeepers already on site. Ability to blend into and work with the team is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily walkthroughs and inspection of property
• Coverage for Senior Houseman or House Manager as appropriate
• Maintaining cleanliness of the fireplaces, attic and crawlspaces, outdoor furniture, gutters, garage spaces, and other areas as dictated
• Running errands as needed
• Be comfortable providing pet care
• Provide/support minor repairs to the home
• Maintain, clean, fuel, and manage higher level maintenance across a fleet of vehicles
• Assist in managing household inventory
• Maintain outdoor areas including daily blowdown, pressure washing, spot treatments
• Troubleshoot home systems within given skillsets

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in relevant positions with verifiable references
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Be located in or willing to relocate to Jackson, WY
• Meticulous, detail oriented, and discrete
• Be willing to sign an NDA
• Adaptable and positive person with can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be COVID vaccinated, proof required
• Ability to use computer and necessary software
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with high work and crawlspaces

Special Considerations Given:

• Experience in any trade
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Basic knowledge of outdoor maintenance
