Overview

A private family in Bridgehampton is seeking a talented and versatile Seasonal Private Chef to support their household throughout the summer season. The chef will be responsible for preparing daily lunches and dinners for a family of seven, with a focus on fresh, high-quality, and thoughtfully prepared meals.

The ideal candidate is creative, health-conscious, and experienced in adapting to a range of dietary preferences while maintaining variety and flavor. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily lunch and dinner for a family of seven
• Create diverse, rotating menus to accommodate varying preferences across family members
• Focus on fresh, seasonal, farm-to-table ingredients
• Prepare primarily Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, with flexibility to incorporate other styles
• Accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, including clean, health-conscious cooking (e.g., minimizing butter and heavy oils)
• Balance lighter, “clean” meals with more relaxed, seasonal dishes as appropriate
• Source high-quality ingredients and manage grocery shopping as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Private Chef, preferably in UHNW homes
• Strong background in Mediterranean and health-conscious cuisine
• Ability to adapt menus to multiple dietary preferences within the same household
• Experience working with fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients
• Highly organized, efficient, and self-sufficient
• Professional, discreet, and service-oriented
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
