Household
A warm and intentional family of four in San Francisco's Inner Richmond neighborhood is seeking a proactive family assistant to become a valued, long-term member of their household. With one child in elementary school and an energetic two-year-old at home, the family is looking for someone who enjoys creating order, supporting healthy routines, and helping a busy household run smoothly.
This role is primarily focused on household support rather with some light childcare responsibilities. Mom is a full-time stay-at-home parent who enjoys spending time with her children and is looking for an extra set of hands so she can focus on one child while knowing the rest of the household is being thoughtfully managed. Dad has a demanding career, making dependable household support especially valuable.
The family values organization, cleanliness, and systems that make everyday life easier. They appreciate someone who naturally notices what needs attention, takes pride in maintaining an orderly environment, and handles their home and belongings with care. They enjoy healthy meals, purposeful family time, and fostering curiosity, learning, and growth in their children.
The home is a three-story single-family residence, and the family employs professional housekeepers for deep cleaning, allowing the family assistant to focus on maintaining the home's daily organization and functionality.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys helping a home operate efficiently. They are proactive without being intrusive, communicate well, and are eager to learn the family's preferences and routines.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys creating organized spaces and bringing calm, structure, and reliability to a busy household. While childcare is a smaller portion of the role, the family values someone who is attentive, safety-focused, and fully engaged when caring for their younger child. They are seeking someone who is interested in building a lasting relationship with the family.
